Internships

The Bushnell's internship program is designed to give motivated individuals an opportunity to be part of the inner workings of a performing arts center, within a successful, forward-thinking business environment. Internships are voluntary with college credit applied when appropriate. They are designed to further education and allow application beyond the classroom.

The Bushnell provides college credit to interns. The follow opportunities are currently available:

Marketing - Fall or Winter

Enjoy the world of theater and arts marketing!  Experience a marketing internship including advertising and public relations 101.  Assist us with press clippings, research, advertising, promotion, publicity and more!  Detail-oriented, organized and a great attitude important.  We'll teach you the rest! 

Human Resources - Fall or Winter

Duties: Work with human resource information system (HRIS) database to update employee records.
Skills desired: Word/Excel experience. Crystal report experience helpful

Finance/Accounting - Fall or Winter

Duties:  Audit A/R module by applying payments that have never been applied to invoices.  Assigning location (G/L acct number) to the individual assets in the fixed asset module. 
Skills desired:  Excel experience.  Computerized general ledger background and understanding of fixed assets and accounts receivable experience.

Development

Assist with planning of annual gala.  Skills desired:  interpersonal & telephone skills, Internet research, willingness to pitch in.

Researcher - Fall, Winter or Spring

Duties:  research potential donor names using computer resources.  Skills desired:  understanding of computers and resources; library science background helpful.
