Auditions for Annie to be held
The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts will hold auditions on Thursday, December 18 in The Bushnell's Belding Theater for 12 girls to be in the orphan chorus in Annie. Registration will be from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. only in the Grand Foyer at The Bushnell. No latecomers will be accommodated. Auditions will end at approximately 8:30 p.m. For parking, there are several parking lots in the blocks surrounding The Bushnell, as well as meters on the streets. Be prepared to pay for parking.
Interested girls between the ages of 7 and 14 years old who sing and dance well should bring two head shots (school pictures are acceptable) and resumes, with all contact information attached. Girls must be between 3'7" and 4'11" tall and should be prepared to learn a couple of songs from the show to audition. Musical accompaniment will be provided. Please note that this audition is for chorus roles, not principal parts. These are unpaid roles. The performance dates for Annie are February 17-22, 2004 as part of the Robinson amd Cole Family Series at The Bushnell. The girls must be available for all 8 performances during the engagement, as well as rehearsals the weekend prior to the first performance.
