Ha! Ha! Hartford! - October
He's back! 96.5 TIC-FM's irrepressible Damon Scott is back for his ninth season as host of The Bushnell's homegrown comedy series.
October's comedians are:
Boston's Gary Gulman has appeared on several television shows including, but not limited to, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman” and NBC's hit standup showcase, “Last Comic Standing.” In recent years, he has gained the attention of such major television networks as CBS, Showtime and FOX, who have signed Gulman to star in comedy projects for them. Though he's only been performing for a relatively short time, his body of work includes a half-hour Showtime Network special, a critically acclaimed CD entitled Conversations With Inanimate Objects and a one hour DVD from Goldhil Media entitled Boyish Man. Gary also starred in the HBO series, “TOURGASM.”

In only eight months of his professional stand-up comedy career Jackson landed his first television appearance on BET’s “Coming to the Stage.” He parlayed that television appearance into a powerhouse set on NBC’s “Showtime at the Apollo.” Stand-up comedy has since become his outlet to express key moments from his life both fictional and non – from the time his girlfriend cheated on him to his “joy-flying” on his pet pterodactyl...with 18 inch rims. Jackson is original, imaginative and creative…and he happens to be very, very funny!
A Bridgeport native, Dom Fig has worked with such notables as Jerry Seinfeld, Richard Lewis, Sam Kinison, Jay Leno, Rosie ODonnell, Arsenio Hall, Rodney Dangerfield, and Patty Labelle. He has also written for Arsenio Hall, Rodney Dangerfield and Jay Leno. Fig regularly performs in Hollywood at the World Famous Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and The Improv. He has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, A&E, “Make Me Laugh,” “Funny is Funny,” “Up All Night,” “PM Magazine,” “Che Locos,” and “Destination Stardom.” Fig has worked at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut, Trump Taj in Atlantic City, and Station Casino in Vegas.
