The Hartford to sponsor 2009-2010 Broadway Series at The Bushnell
HARTFORD, CT – The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts is thrilled to announce that The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., has renewed its exclusive title sponsorship of The Bushnell’s Broadway Series for a third year. The Hartford Financial Services Group Broadway Series 2009-2010 season includes the 2008 Tony Award®-winners for Best Musical, Best Play and Best Musical Revival, the 2007 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical and the 75th anniversary production of one of America’s most treasured masterpieces.

The Hartford Financial Services Group Broadway Series features five Connecticut premieres in the 2009-2010 season, including Young Frankenstein, the 2008 Tony Award®-winning Best Play August: Osage County, Christmas with the Rat Pack – Live at The Sands, the winner of four 2008 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the 2008 Grammy Award® for Best Show Album, In the Heights, and the 2007 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Spring Awakening, as well as the 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific, and the 75th anniversary production of one of America’s most memorable masterpieces, Porgy and Bess.
