The Jimmies Concert Rescheduled

The popular children’s music group will now be performing at The Bushnell’s Family Fun Day on April 25, 2009.

Hartford, CT – October 10, 2008 – Popular children’s rock group The Jimmies, previously scheduled to perform in The Bushnell’s Belding Theater on Saturday, October 18, 2008, will be postponing their engagement and coming to Hartford on April 25, 2009 as the headlining band for The Bushnell’s Family Fun Day.  The band, founded by lead singer Ashley, is a number one pick for kids and parents alike with a repertoire of silly songs that appeal to children without being babyish.  Family Fun Day is a part of the Robinson & Cole Family Series.  Additional support provided by the Charles Nelson Robinson Fund, Bank of America, Trustee.

Patrons who have already purchased tickets for the October 18th performance can mark the new date and time (April 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.) on their tickets and use them for the Family Fun Day show this coming Spring.  Those who are unable make the rescheduled date can return their tickets to The Bushnell’s Box Office at 166 Capitol Avenue for a refund.  Tickets for Family Fun Day are also on sale to the general public at this time.

A Parents' Choice award and Oppenheim Toy Portfolio winner, The NYC-based band The Jimmies play "real music for real kids" and will gleefully rock, swing & dance their way into your world through terribly catchy & hilarious songs for people of all ages. Their new album "Make Your own Someday" was included on over a dozen "Best Kids Album of the Year" lists and their single "What's That Sound?" just hit #1 on the XMKids Radioplay Charts.
