Comedians Announced for November 23 Ha! Ha! Hartford!

Damon Scott returns to The Bushnell to host sixth season of comedy series
featuring Joey Vega, Pete Dominick, and Bob Gautreau

Hartford, CT – November 13, 2007 – He's back! 96.5 TIC-FM's irrepressible Damon Scott is back for his sixth season as host of The Bushnell's homegrown comedy series, Ha! Ha! Hartford! The first show of the season will take place in The Bushnell’s Belding Theater on November 23, 2007 at 8:30 pm and will feature the comedic talents of Joey Vega (Fox’s “The Latin Connection”), Pete Dominick (Sirius Radio’s “Comedy by Request”), and Bob Gautreau.  The Ha! Ha! Hartford! series is sponsored by United Technologies Corporation.  Comedians have been booked with the assistance of Treehouse Comedy Productions (www.treehousecomedy.com).

Tickets for Ha! Ha! Hartford! are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting The Bushnell Box Office at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford or by calling (860) 987-5900.  Tickets may also be purchased online at www.bushnell.org.  Groups of 20 or more should call (860) 987-5959.  Tickets prices are $15-$22.  This show is not recommended for children under the age of 17 due to some content intended for mature audiences.

Ha! Ha! Hartford host Damon Scott is also host of 96.5 TIC-FM’s weekday afternoon show “The Damon Scott Show with Jeannine Jersey.”  He's been in broadcasting for over 18 years. Damon is a regular contributor to the Satellite Comedy Network and operates his own production company producing commercials and imagery for stations all around the country.

Joey Vega is a seasoned veteran of the comedy circuit. His comedy is smooth, suave, and improvisational. He hosted his own TV show on the FOX Network called the Latin Connection and has opened for J Lo's Marc Anthony at Madison Square Garden along with comedy superstar Chris Rock. He has also played the 10,000 seat Arena at the Mohegan Sun a half dozen times. This New York City native's episodic TV appearances include The Sopranos and numerous appearances on Law & Order. Joe's big screen movie appearances include Rounders with Matt Damon, Punchline with Tom Hanks and Sally Fields, and The Latin Legends of Comedy. Joe was one of three comics ever to have been hand picked to do the Rosie O'Donnell Show. He has also appeared with Howard Stern on his radio and television shows. 

Pete Dominick is best known as the host of Sirius Satellite Radio live daily show Comedy By Request with Pete Dominick on the Raw Dog Comedy Channel.  He also hosts Getting Late with Pete Dominick where he interviews actors and comedians.  He performs regularly as a stand up comedian at some of the top clubs in New York City and is a frequent opener for Artie Lange.  In addition to his radio and stand up work, Pete warms up studio audiences every night for Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" as well as many nights at the Daily Show.  Pete's act is largely inspired by his personal life as well as his interest in politics and social issues.  His quick wit, instant likeability and unique way of engaging any audience have made him one of the most sought after M.C.'s at the New York clubs.  This past summer Pete was selected to perform at the 2006 Just For Laugh's Montreal Comedy Festival on the "New Faces of Comedy" show, one of the highest honors any young comedian can achieve.  To find out more about Pete check out his website: www.petesbigmouth.com.

Bob Gautreau has been a professional entertainer since 1978.  His comedy and impressions have taken him to clubs, colleges and cruises as well as HBO and A&E's "An Evening at the Improv."
